Matt Harper-Nixon

Warden

Matt Harper-Nixon and his wife Allyson joined St. Paul’s in 2008. Matt began his service to St. Paul’s as a delegate to Diocesan Convention, continuing in that role through 2016. Matt’s service to the Diocese of Massachusetts includes membership on the Diocesan Council with his second three-year term concluding at the 2017 Convention. At St. Paul’s, Matt serves as a LEM and is in his second year on the Altar Chapter. He is active in the Crafting Guild and enjoys the fellowship this provides. Allyson served on the search committee that called Melanie to be our rector. She is a lector, and has been an active participant in the Lenten study series and the book discussion group. Their son Teddy brings his love of singing to the children’s choir, his way with words to roles in the Christmas pageant, and his desire to help to his service as an acolyte. A graduate of Boston University and Suffolk Law School, Matt is a staff attorney at the Committee for Public Counsel Services, representing defendants affected by the multiple drug lab scandals in Massachusetts.
